Transport facility of SMEC has recorded an extensive growth over the past few years both in spread of network and in output of the system.

The maintenance of the bus facility is monitored regularly by an exclusively established Transport Department in the college. The comfort and convenience of the faculty and students form the prime concern of this department, with safety and security of the users being paramount.

Personnel associated with the transport system-viz., drivers, attenders/cleaners, in-charges etc. are very vigilant and cautious about the logistics of the system.

Special care and attention is focused on the students participating in the various extra-curricular activities, providing them with bus services to suit their timings of practice and participation. Pick-up and drop points/landmarks and timings are conducively planned for smooth and comfortable travel.

The transportation network is webbed to all the four corners of the city, connecting the college as the nucleus. The transit to desired point of disembarkment on rare and urgent occasions, are complied in a flexible manner keeping the needs of the college as a priority. The forte of the college management, is visibly profound in the fluent administration of transportation, catered to the recipients’ absolute satisfaction.

The insignia of the college on the buses is a feast for the eyes and crystally visible to the on lookers, which propagates the essence and excellence of the college.
